    Hi,

We'd like to use your service to conduct voting for an award contest, which will be hosted on our website.

Essentially, we want people to log in (so we know the people voting are using realy email addresses and aren't just creating 1000 fake IDs), then choose one of five videos (which will be embedded on the site) and vote for it (one vote per email address or ISP per day).

Is this possible (to create the login requirement) with your service? Thanks so very much!

    Hi,

There are ways to require logging in previously to view a form but not through Jotform itself.  We discourage out users from asking for any type of password in their forms.  There is a way to make sure that each IP address is only allowed to submit the form once.

    1. Go to the "Setup and embed" tab while editing your form.

    2. Click "Preferences"

    3. Click "Form Limits"

    4. Change "Unique Submission" from "No Check" to "Strict"

This should allow for only one submission to come from each IP address.  If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know and we will be happy to assist you.

    Thank you for using Jotform!
