How can I have notification emails show only options NOT checked on a checkbox question?

Is this possible?  I haven't seen this question asked already. The form I am thinking of already has several responses so I would rather not create confusion by changing the question.   It is a 'check if this is done' sort of question.

Looks like the option you're looking contradicts how Jotform process submissions for the checkbox field since only checked options are recorded during form submissions.

However, I think using matrix table with checkbox option will be of help here since it prints out a table with check and uncheck options in the email notification which enables you to see visually what options that are checked and what are not.
