    Hello,

I'm trying to figure out if the approval workflow feature in Jotform can solve a problem we are trying to solve. I work at a college where we need our students to record their clinical hours. Here's what we need it to do:

    1. Students fill out a form that indicates the date, number of hours, and a brief description of activities.
    2. Once the student hits submit, their supervisor receives an email to approve or deny their hours.
    3. If the hours are approved, an email is sent to the student, supervisor, and program director
    4. If the hours are not approved, the student receives an email to resubmit
    5. Once the hours are approved, we need some way to do the following:
    6. Have each individual students' approved hours listed in a student-specific table or spreadsheet that lists the date, hours worked, and description of activities, AND also shows the cumulative number of hours completed.
    7. Have a unique link for each student to view only their approved hours, and the cumulative number of hours completed.

I'm fairly certain I understand how to complete the first 2 steps I outlined. It's the 3rd step that I'm unsure of. Is there any way to do this using Jotform?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Robb-

    Hello Robb,

Please allow me some time to check if your requirement for the third step can be done in Jotform. I will get back to you as soon as I have an update.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hello Robb,

I apologize for the delay. I'm afraid that it is not possible to have each individual students' approved hours listed in a student-specific table or spreadsheet. All submissions will be listed in your form table. An option would be to integrate the form with applications like the Google Spreadsheet and sort it from there as well as creating a unique link.
