How can we create a field that comprises multiple fields of different types?

Guys, we're looking for the same thing as raised in this forum query:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/323688-Multiple-Entries-not-all-text-fields?entrymessage=10732640770

Essentially it requires the ability for a user to add a group of different types of field that have some business relationship.

As an example a dropdown 'operation' selection e.g. GET, PUT etc and a free text field that indicates the 'resource' to be operated upon, e.g. /actuator/switch1

So a user might want to enter:

    POST   /actuator/switch1

    GET   /sensors/light

    etc etc

With an 'Add' button to create a new line

Most often the related fields would be side by side, but it would be better if they  could be positioned anywhere within an area.

Without this, pity but jotform won't work for us.

    Best wishes

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

We have Configurable List Widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/configurable_list. This widget allows you to add a different type of field per row. You can add this widget to your form by following this guide: -How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form

Hope this works for you. If not, please let us know. If you can give an example, that would be better. This way, we can request the feature to our developers.

    Thanks
