    Hi

We have created our form using the JotForm creator and have downloaded the source and modified certain fields and html structures. This form works perfectly for submissions.

How do we get our page to load existing forms for editing? We cant redirect it to the JotForm edit page as the form on your server doesnt have all our new changes.

We currently have it all in an html page but we can create an aspx page if required.

    Thanks.

I think you are referring to the FormBuilder as " creator " which you called it.  Are you asking about existing form submissions you've received on jotform to edit? Or did you mean that you wanted to try to load existing forms from your site to edit?

The only way you can edit the existing data that has been submitted to you through your physical jotform is either inside the submission viewer on your account or after the data has been downloaded.

Can you please clarify this more in case I have misunderstood you.

    Hi Kade

Thanks for getting back to me.

What we have done is create a basic form in Jotform. We could get it to create some table structures etc we required so downloaded the source and put it in our own HTML page. When the user submits the page the data gets sent to jotform.

We need a way where the user can edit the data in our hosted page. The reason we cant redirect them to the JotForm version is because it doesnt contain all the fields, design elements that is now in our new local page.

Technically the source thats available for us to download is for new submissions. Is there an equivalent page we can download to our hosted site for edit or some service or parameters we can add to the url that initiates an edit?

    Hope this explains it better.

    Thanks.

    @swapna_summit

Editing sumissions is not possile with hosted forms. Since you are using the form source code, you will not be able to utilize the edit submission feature using your hosted form.

My suggestion would be to mimic the layout of your hosted form by injecting custom CSS codes to your form in the form builder. Guide: How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes. So they can update their submissions using the same form this time with the same layout of the form hosted in your site.

If you need further assistance, let us know here.

    Regards!

    Hello swapna_summit,

When you say "but it is not working with a particular table", do you mean to say that you are unable to edit the matirx submission data?

I did try to browse your last few threads but could not find the specific one with form detail. Please let us know the form in question with which you are having this issue and we will surely take a look.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!
