Free account limit questions

Per the website, the free account has the following monthly limitations:

100 Monthly Submissions,  10 SSL Secure Submissions,  10 receive Payments

Do payments to PayPal count as one of the 10 received payments limitation?
How can I tell if my form will use a SSL?

Finally, if my form gets more than 100 submissions, will I be notified and given the opportunity to upgrade? Will the submission that went over the limit be lost or will I get it upon upgrade?

    Thanks Ernie

    Hi,

Here is a guide to SSL submissions and for our pricing plans, but basically if your form is embedded in a page that starts with HTTPS:// your form will be sending secure submissions.

Things such as Facebook integration force our forms to use SSL and quickly use up the 10 free submissions.  Paypal integration also uses up the 10 free secure submissions, as these submissions MUST be encrypted.  You will receive and email if your account is getting close to the limits.  However the account will be disabled and the forms no longer functional if you do go over.  Once upgraded they will again be activated, though there may be some lag time inbetween payment and upgrade.  You will never lose submissions, users will simply not be able to use your form once over limit.

Please let us know if you have any issues with setup or integration and we will be happy to help.

    Thank you for using Jotform!
