The Gift Registry plug-in does not seem to load on my form when opened in some browsers but not others. Instead it leaves a blank space where the registry options should be available.

Your form is currently embedded into a blank HTML page essetially. Without the proper doctype definition, your page is having trouble formatting the forms. Some browsers are better than others at forcing formatting. Please use the iframe method of embedding your form:
Or add this line to the top of your HTML document above <html>
I would reccomend adding the doctype declaration regardless:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

That fix seems to have worked for some browsers. It seems to still be broken on IE and older versions of Firefox. Any other adjustments i should make?

I also can see it NOT working on IE9 browser when viewed in your website http://uchicagolawandecon.org/summer2014/signup.html or even using the form's direct URL http://www.jotformpro.com/form/41616132650951
Unfortunately, this must be a browser incompatitibilty issue which can only be adjusted within the back-end code.
So I will submit a bug ticket to our higher team support to look into this, and possibly apply a patch to immediately fix the browser related issue of the Gift Registry widget.
For the meantime, what I can suggest as an alternative resolution is to use a more up-to-date browsers. The forms/widgets were developed to use modern browsers to take adavantage of newer technology of the browser.

Hello,ive had all the same issues, and i was told a bug fix request was made, but i cant still only use my form in Chrome. Gift Registry doesnt work in IE or FF in quite recent versions as well.
Currently in IE and FF, the page reveals all fields (including the ones meant to be hidden by conditions) and doesn't show at all gift registry until you force refresh.
Dont want to nag but have built this system using Gift Reg, and cant really go back now and need to start giving it to people. Cant just have a website that works in Chrome :/
