MailChimp Integration: Submissions with emails that exists on the MC List are not recorded

    Above... you mentioned that only forms associated with a new email address will be added into mailchimp. What if someone is simply updating their information with the same form. Will this not work?

    Hi,

    My test concludes that editing submissions with the same email address retained will not get recorded to the MC list. In other words, the user should change the email address so it will create new record on the MC list.

    Example:

    Keep in mind that the MC integration interprets the email as the key. The same email address will be recognized as duplicates and will not be recorded. This is the current behavior of the MC integration. However, don't get me wrong, I have still raised this to our developers so they can check and investigate this further. Hopefully they'd be ale to come up something for updating submissions.

    Thanks for the response Elton!

    I know mailchimp subscribers can update their information at any time through a mailchimp provided link, but since the nice jotform is already created it would be nice if they could update their information there as well as singing up. After all people will generally go back to where they originally signed up, especially if they can't figure out how to update their informaiton any other way.

    I'll stay tuned for future updates.

    Support the above suggestion :)

    My subscribers update their information via Jotform and it would be a duplication of effort if the administrator needs to update the info manually over in MC.

    Hello Hyogagroup,

    My colleague have already reported this issue to our back end team. Upon checking the ticket status, I found that it is already assigned to one of our developer. That means our back end team is already looking into this issue. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    Hello guys,

    I have updated the integration process.  This time if the user edits a submission and the email address already exists, the record will get updated. If the email does not exist, a new record will be added.

    Please do take note that the updating of record in mailchimp can happen only when editing a submission as to prevent overwriting from new submissions.
