CSS code is not necessary. To enable the Hint inside the form fields, all you need to do is add the hint value from the field's properties.

First click on the gear and click on properties of the field. Then look for the Hint Example option. here you can add whichever value you want as the hint.

How do I edit the example Hint for a "Full Name" field. It will only allow me to add hint text to the "First Name" box not the Last Name. Can this be done with CSS?

I think that is only possible if you are using the full source code of your form. That way you can make any modification that you like. However, if you simply want hint text inside the form, perhaps you can use the Hint Example option instead.
