Okay, if possible add 2 features in "Get Visitor Location"

    1. An option to Hide the details for the user who is submitting the form

    2. Option of storing only Country as currently both Country/City is getting stored

    Thanks

    Hi,

When you say "Hide", meaning, from the autoresponder email? Because as the form owner, you have the complete control of the data that was submitted to your form. The Get Visitor Location widget is hidden from your form view. Once someone submits to the form, you will see the location on your email notification and google spreadsheet if you have it integrated to Google Sheets.

    Thanks

Basically I want to use this widget in such a way that the end-user shouldn't be know that I am collecting its location information and I will be successfully collect its location details onto my Google Spreadsheets.

Currently what is happening is that as soon as I drag the widget and save it displays the location to the end user though they wont be able to alter it, but I don't want them to see also that their location is being displayed.

My second request is that currently what is happening it is displaying Country/City in Google Spreadsheets or also in submissions section of JotForm. What I wanted is only country and I don't want city, and I don't see any method to get rid of that.

Do let me know if any clarifications are required at my end.

You guys are doing a great job :)

    Cheers!

My apologies! I didn't notice that the widget is visible in the form view - textbox with the information in it. Maybe, I was lag when I first check it. Again, my apologies for the confusion.

My suggestion would be to hide the widget from the form using a custom CSS codes that will be injected to your form. If you agree with this, just simply let me know the form URL so I can check the widget ID and have you the custom CSS codes.

With regards to your second question, I have already forwarded the thread to our developers. I've moved the request to a new thread, check it here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/396349

    Thanks

And, I have also submitted this thread to our developers as a feature request. If there are updates, you should know it via this thread.

    Thanks

The problem is that the widget URL changed and the old URL does not work. The solution is to remove the widget and re-add it again.

But, when you remove the question(widget), the data will be lost. So, if you have a lot of submissions on this form, you should probably make the widget hidden and then add a new Get Visitor Location widget instead.
