why isn't {edit_link} working?

When I first created my auto responder text I used {edit_link} in the paragraph and when I received a test email, {edit_link) used to turn into a click-able link that said Edit Submission, which brought me back to that form.  But now it's not working.  It just says "{edit_link} within the paragraph.  What am I doing wrong?

Upon checking your form's notification email alert, I did not find any issue with that. The edit link should work normally.

I did clone your form and sent a test submission. The submission email and the auto-responder email I received, does display the edit link correctly. Please check the screenshot below:
