How can I make changes to the Drive connection/defaults?

I created a test form, then after that I authenticated jotform to my Drive account and it seems to have created a default folder with no files in it; however, I had created one form and saved it. I'm confused on the relationship between jotform and drive and how I can path/find my master forms file in Drive and also how the submissions gsheet creation/filing works.

I have project files/folder in Drive that I move from time to time based on project status, so at any given time I could have/want a jotform and submissions file pathed to one location and move that file later. Will everything follow the move or do jotforms just have a master file on Drive that I have to work out of (hope not).

I couldn't find a "default" or other type of filepath choice in jotform. When I created a jotform from Drive 'create' menu, it defaulted to a jotform created folder on 'my drive', I renamed that folder to my naming convention. So, now that I've got a jotform and submission file in that folder, when I move those files (not the folder) is that a problem for any future use? Also, when I create a new form can I path the form to a file other than the default file?

    Hi,

First off, Google Drive Integration is different with Google Spreadsheet Integration. Just to clear any confusions.

If you're referring to the Google Drive Integration, then this article explains about it. https://www.jotform.com/blog/62-Send-Your-Form-Uploads-to-Google-Drive. Google Drive works the same as Dropbox Integration. A copy of the files uploaded to your form will be forwarded to your Google Drive account.

The integration folder can be defined when you integrate your form in the form builder.

You're right, the files will be placed to the integrated folder that is defined on the integration wizard. You can only change the folder path when you re-integrate your form.

You can move the files manually to the folders you want as long as you leave the folder path that is defined on integration settings. e.g. Jotform/FormName/files that is on this folder can be move.

If you have further questions or if I have missed something, let us know.

    Regards!
