    Randomly Missing Application Submissions

Asked by AmandaLawson on June 27, 2014 at 12:59 PM

    Hi there,

I have missed at least two application submissions that I know of. One was just entered last night, and I was hoping you guys could take a deeper look on your end to find out what is going on and where all of that information went. Please help so I know if I need to move all my forms elsewhere or not.

    Thank you!

How did you know that you're missing submissions? Did you receive an email from the form but it's not available in your form submissions page? If yes, do you still have the email? We'd like to check it so please forward the email to support@jotform.com.

Once someone submitted to a form, that should be available in the form submissions page. You may have receive a submission from a different form from your account. Your thoughts?

I have responded to your email regarding this problem. I would advise to send your reply to this thread instead.

    This is my reply:

One last question if that friends of yours see the form's thank you message after she clicks the submit button? If not, I'm afraid that the form was not submitted properly. Probably due to a script conflict between the form and your website scripts which I noticed upon visiting your website.  A conflict will usually happen if you're embedding your form using our default Javascript method and your website contains Javascript and jQuery scripts.

To fix that, I would recommend re-embedding your form using our iFrame method: http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code. Since the form is placed inside an iFrame, that shouldn't create any conflict to your webpage.

Please do as recommended and update us if the issue persists.
