There is a question mark where the smooth signature entry should be in my form submission?? and no signature but they said they did it?

Which form is this happening on? I took a quick look at the 3 forms on your account and I can see all of them have a visible signature field which is working on my end. I have cleared your form cache for you from our end to refresh your forms so can you please check this again and let us know if it is still a problem.

Its my client form and its on the form that they submitted. They signed but it only shows a question mark where there signature should be

If I am not mistaken, the question mark you mean refers to a broken signature link. However we'd like to confirm that first and it would help us verify that if we can view it within the form. Can you please provide the form URL instead? I'm not sure which client form you're referring. The form URL or the form ID should help us trace the form in question.

I check that form and there were no signatures on the form submissions page.
According to your form history, about an hour ago you have recreated the field.This is the reason why the data associated to it are gone. Note that deleting fields will also delete its associated data. A prompt error should let you decide when you delete the field for confirmation.
Unfortunately, deleted data cannot be retrieved back.

That was an old submission. The other two should of had the signature. It just showed the little question mark

Thanks for your swift response.
Like I've said, they appeared as question mark since the file no longer exist.
Unfortunately, we just can't retrieve deleted data once the associated field is deleted. The one I've provided is from the cache version but it will be probably be purged sooner or later. Sorry about that.

Why was it deleted? I never deleted it

The field was recreated according to your form history. I've shared you the following screen on my previous post. Sorry for not mentioning it.
Go to your My Forms page, select a form then click More button > Revision History.
You will be able to find all the changes made to the form there. Thanks!

Ok so I had them resubmit the form and there is a little question mark where their signature should be. I haven't changed anything so they shouldn't be deleted this time.

I checked your form and none of the fields is required so it is possible to submit the form without filling in the fields, signature included.
I checked the submissions and the submission 2014-06-29 19:55:47 is missing the image:
