Approval flow prefill form not getting prefilled

    Hello,

    I need some help! I Have a workflow that iniciates with a Form (Solicitacao de Compra). After some person send a new response, it goes to an approval. If approved, it is configured to assign a other form (Orçamentos) to a especific email.

    But, when this person who has the Orçamentos's form assign enters in the link provided by the email and opens the form, the information that should be pre-populated doesn't appear. I did all the settings in the form, but it doesn't work.

    Could you help me to understand why it isn't working?

    Hi leonardo,

    Thanks for providing additional information. When I went into your approval flow it appears that there is no prefill information filled out.

    Try enabling this and then seeing if the form is prefilled when you reach this point in the approval flow.

    Hello Parker,
    I had just disable this configuration because I saw the link that Leonidas have sent and I saw an example that used the table contents to prefill the form:

    However, it doesn't work either. I sent a new form and I click in the link that I received in the email and the forms came blank

    Hi Leonardo,

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    I made clones of both of your forms and added in the prefill information in the approval flow, but I wasn't able to replicate any issues. When I assigned the form to another email, when I clicked on the button it was prefilled for me.

    Can you try deleting this section out of your approval flow and recreating it to see if that resolves the issue?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately the problem persists. I did all the flow from the beggining, with new forms.

    When I try it with my email in the assignment of the form that has to be prefilled, it works. But when I change the assign email for my coworker, it stops to work. I delete all the answers in process, recreate the step of the form and still doesn't work.

    To the form be prefilled, have it to be assign to the same user that creates the original form?

    Thanks for patiently waiting. Based on my test, the prefill should work regardless of who it is assigned to. Have you tried assigning it to someone else? Or perhaps, have your co-worker try a different browser when finishing the form? We look forward to hearing from you.

    I already tried to assign for me and sometimes it worked. It already worked for my co-worker too, but when I change anything in the flow, it stops.

    Is there another way to try prefill the information that is more consistenly? Or is there a test that I can do to give you more informations to undestand the problem?

    Thanks for getting back to us. Is this happening to all fields you prefilled or just specific fields? I checked your form and prefill is not set up as of writing. Could you tell us the prefill you are now using? Is it the one under the Publish tab or the one in the Approval Workflow?

    Yes, it is happening with all fields.
    Sorry, I did not understand what you mean with "is set up as of writing".

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    I've cloned your forms along with the approval workflow that you are using and made some tests. However, the form is being prefilled consistently without any issue. Even after making changes to the approval workflow, it's working consistently. Could you please try removing the entire form element on the approval workflow and replacing it?
