Using "Other" option from Radio group in Calculation

I'm writing a form that has a radio group as input in a calculation field.  If any of the "hard" options are selected, the calculation works, but it ignores any amount entered if the "Other" option is selected.

    Hi,

The "allow other" option allows the user to enter text, not another value to be entered.

This does not carry a value into your calculations.  My recommendation would be to setup a donation field.  Here is an example form that does this:

This method does carry the value entered into the total at the end.  Please let us know if you have any other questions and we will be happy to help.

    Thank you for using Jotform!
