I just started how to use the JotForm. I would like to create a form with your online form builder where in one row it has two text boxes, two drop downs, and also a button says "Add new row"? I really appreciate if someone can show me how to do this. Thank you in advance.

Thanks Mike_T - I have given it a try. One quick question - is it possible to have the labels row showed up without having to click the "Add" button?

You can hide the "Add" button using custom CSS codes. But the problem with it hidden is, you will NOT be able to add row/s.
Please clarify if this is not what you meant about removing the "Add" row button.

I apologize for not being clear. I don't want to hide the "Add" button. So with the configurable list you have to click the "Add" button at least once so at least you can see the table's labels and the first row of the table. What I would like to do is to not have to do that. I would like to have the table's labels and the first row of entries showed up right away, and then the user can click on the "Add" button to add the second row of entries. Can you show me how to do that? Thank you.

Thank you for providing more details about it.
I now understand properly what you meant about having at least a default row already.
Unfortunately, the widget does not have have that option at the moment. I am sorry, but for the moment, you will have to make use of it as is.
What I will do now also is submit a feature request ticket to our development team so that they can deliberate if they can apply improvement to the Configurable List widget -- that is, to include option to have a default starting row/value.
They will post update on this thread as soon as available.
Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

Thank you Jonathan. I really appreciate your quick response. Do you mind if I ask more questions about the Configurable list?1) Is it possible to custom change the width of the fields? For example, textbox in the first column is 200px, the textbox in the second column is 100px, or the select field in the third column is 50px, etc.
2)Will it be possible to make only the first row as the required row to enter?3) Is it possible to custom css the table labels? If so, what are the css ids or css fields that have to be targeted?
Thank you in advance.

The widget has got a new param "Minimal rows number", that lets you show some rows by default instead of asking user to click "add row". If you don't see this param in widget wizard, please remove widget and add it again.

Thank you MacLuc. It worked for me. I really appreciate it.
Is there any reason why you don't see it in the widget wizard after you placed it in the stage?
- MacLucAnswered on July 08, 2014 at 10:35 AM
I'm not the one responsible for wizard, but as far as I know, there is some technical reason for it, indeed. Some time ago I asked the person responsible to change this behavior, but don't know if and when it will be done.

I really appreciate you pointing it out. Once you dropped it to the stage, and you fiddle around with it. It disappeared. I hope the developer had a changed to fix this issue. Anyway, thank you again.
