    Hi swapna_summit,

    If you are talking about select box itself, you can add padding into left by injecting some css like this:

    select { text-indent: 10px; }

    However, if you mean adding padding into the option list items, it is not possible.

    If you need any further help, please let us know.

    Have a good day.

    Hi

    Thanks for the feedback however we wanted to know about adding padding between objects. For example: We the country box to align with the job level. How do we add left padding to the country dropdown list so that it aligns with the dropdown below. Please see attached screenshot.

    Thanks

    Hi

    Yes in terms of alignment thats what we want. We would have the Organisation drop down starting from directly above the start date chooser.

    sorry we see to be missing each other. not sure if our screenshots are coming through

    As a final resort we can do it as you have suggested above but ideally

    Oranisation should be above startdate as you have above but must only be as long as the start date control. Country must be above version and as long as it. Industry must be above Job level and as long as it. Duration will not have anything above it.

    Sorry if we havent explained it properly.

    Thanks again :-)

    Hi

    Sorry that again the same problem repeating, even if i put the margin left code it is not working as we need

    actually need the country and the industry to come at the same column above the joblevel and version.

    when take the preview whatever i done changes in the margin pixels -- is not updated???

    could u suggest any other method?

    i was also thinking about adding mtrix for these dropdown if so, then how i could add date field in a matrix table

    I've fixed this to your form. You have 0px, should be 35px.

    #id_7 {

    margin-left: 35px !important;

    }

    You cannot add a date field into the matrix table. I would suggest using our Configurable List widget instead: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/configurable_list

    Thanks
