    Integration with Salesforce

Asked by ieinbar on July 04, 2014 at 06:04 AM

Hello, I have some questions regarding integration with Salesforce app. Can your app do the following:

    * Create web forms for any standard or custom Salesforce object (Web-to-Anything)

    * Build more flexible Web-to-Lead and Web-to-Case forms

    * Use web forms to update (upsert) existing records in Salesforce

    * Connect web forms with more than one object in a single submission

    * Attach file uploads to records

    * Create multiples of the same Saleforce objects (multiple leads, contacts, file attachments, etc).

    Thank you

Hi, please find my answers below!

    * Create web forms for any standard or custom Salesforce object (Web-to-Anything)

-You should be able to mapped basic fields from Jotform to Salesforce. However, I'm afraid that mapping custom fields is limited at this time. Specially, for the other fields aside from textboxes.

    * Build more flexible Web-to-Lead and Web-to-Case forms

-Our current integration supports, LEAD, CONTACT and ACCOUNT only. Unfortunately, Case type is not available.

    * Use web forms to update (upsert) existing records in Salesforce

-Unfortunately, re-submitting form data or submitting the same information to the form doesn't not update existing records to Salesforce. It would appear as a new lead, contact or account.

    * Connect web forms with more than one object in a single submission

-Object, meaning, data that will be forwarded to Salesforce? If yes, of course that's how the integration works. You can map how many fields you want to us as long as it is supported by the integration.

    * Attach file uploads to records

-Maybe, mapping Jotform file upload field to your salesforce custom field.

    * Create multiples of the same Saleforce objects (multiple leads, contacts, file attachments, etc).

-Unfortunately, this is not possible because you have to select which type should the data be forwarded to, options are mentioned above.

Let me know if you have any further questions and I hope I have provided your desired questions. And please let me know if I have misunderstood some of your questions.

    Thank you!

Can you tell me how can I accomplish this:

"* Attach file uploads to records

-Maybe, mapping Jotform file upload field to your salesforce custom field. "

I've not been successful with this. The file attachment field does not show as an option to choose to map field.
