    How can I resolve problems with the Postcode box on my form?

    Some people trying to submit my form have had problems with the form not accepting their postcode. I have had more than one person have their post code rejected - the form says that this field is required even when the correct post code is used.  Is this a common problem and how can I resolve this please?

    You are talking about the address field on your contact form here correct? I tested this and it accepted my area code correctly with no errors. Any idea what zipcode was being entered by those whom were having this issue? Was this happening yesterday or did it start today?

    The only thing I can think of at the moment is if this happened yesterday then it was due to a problem we had with validating your fields and that may have caused the issue at the time which we do apologize about. We've already fixed it though and I have cleared your form cache so that should resolve it. Please test again and let us know if you are still seeing this problem.

    This happened both yesterday and today.  A customer could not fill in the form as the address field would not recognize her post code -LU7 4QN.  I also had this fail when my daughter put in her post code - NG7 1JN

    I have just tried it again and the same problem has occurred. It gets to the part where it asks for the post code and says this field is required after I have filled in the post code.  I have had the form work with a number of other codes but not the two I have listed.

    I see that the LU7 code has worked now.  Could you please try the NG7 code as well?

    Thank you for the update about that. I tested this again on a separate test with the 2 postal codes you provided and I was still unable to replicate this issue so I tested this a third time on your form itself to confirm, but it was the same result yet again.

    How are you entering it in on your form? I tried them both as " LU7 4QN " and " NG7 1JN ". I am wondering if you are entering it differently than me. I even tried setting it to UK and Ukraine just for furthering testing purposes.

    Can you please share a screenshot of this with us if it is still an issue?

    Ok, I have gone back and tried the post codes again and now they enter without problem. 


    I am a bit confused as to why they did not work earlier but if they work consistently now then it won't be a problem.
