I turned off my unique question but I still receive multiple entry error

    Hi There,

I am running into an issue with multiple submissions with my form. I did have it as only one submission per email address, but for some reason that was making not all my recipients of the form (who have different emails) be able to fill it out. They were receiving the no multiple entry allowed paged.

I changed it to allow multiple entries in the settings, but I am still having some recipients be able to complete the form and some not, still getting the no multiple entry allowed page and I am not sure how to fix this.

This is being used in a school where the students email address all end in the same @schoolname.net, not sure if that has something to do with it. I also do not have the IP or Cookies check on.

    Thanks,

    Hi, @Jen_Boles.

Thank you for contacting Jotform support.

I cloned your form and perform a test:

    • Turned on the unique question (to limit to the e-mail).
    • Submit an answer.
    • Turned off the unique questions.
    • Submit another answer with the same e-mail address.

But I could not replicate the issue. Everything worked normally here. Kindly turn on and off again the unique question on your form settings.

I'm also clearing your form caches. The cache sometimes can lead to some temporary issues.

If the problem persists, we may have to forward this to our back-end team.

Please test it and tell us if it worked.
