    Form conditions not working properly

Asked by Amoko on July 11, 2014 at 06:47 AM

My form doesn´t work properly. It is an order form for our customers. http://form.jotform.co/form/33427490570859

There are conditions from point 2.2 that don´t work every time when customer uses the form. The same error occurs also in points 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Many times when customer choose "yes", for example to field 2.2, the condition don´t work and the hidden fields don´t show. Some of the forms we receive from customers, these conditions have not worked and some of those they did. Where is the problem?

This is a re-post of a comment on Hide or Show Multiple Fields at Once

I test the form http://www.jotform.co/form/33427490570859 , when I try 2.2  select 'Yes' it shows

    the previously hidden questions

Although its a bit difficult for me to understand your form language since it is not in English, but from what I understand, it seems the condition was properly setup also.

Please check again. Inform us if the issue persist.

Please try clearing first your browser's cache. It seems the problem was just due to the cache content on the browser.

When I first tried your form http://www.jotform.co/form/33427490570859  I encountered similar problem. But after clearing my browser's cache, the conditions on the form works.

I checked again the form's conditional statements and it seems you did not modified them from the original. So, they should still work.

Inform us if issue still persist even after clearing the browser's cache.

I did clear the cache (Firefox&MAC) and also tried the form with PC and IE explorer and iPad+safari, but same problem occurs with every device and browser. I have not made any changes to the form or conditions.

The problem is only with the conditions starting from point 2.2 and with the rest of the points (3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9). The conditions in earlier points work well and has worked all the time. If you check the point 1.1, it works well.

Pls. help to get this work!

I was able to replicate the problem now for the form  http://www.jotform.co/form/33427490570859

The condition statement for 2.2 is not working anymore. I checked the conditional statement setup, but they were fine

I am not able to find out yet what could be the problem, but can you please try first removing and recreate again the conditional statement at leaset for 2.2, then, test the form again if it will work this time.

Please inform us of the result.

Done, but still does not work. When I removed the condition in 2.2 rest of the form started working okay. But after creating the conditions again to point 2.2, the problem is back.

Seems like point 2.2 is somehow problem. After activating it, rest of the form does not work.

Actually, now conditions in the point 2.2 are removed and rest of the form (points 3 and 5...) don´t work... Minute before they did work. :/

pls chech if you find something.

I am having the same problem.  Previewing the form displays everything great -- really great. But when I embed the code onto my webpage and preview it with firefox, nothing works.

I sure hope we can find an answer to this mystery.

I can confirm the same issue.

A "hide multiple" rule doesn't work.

    I have cleared the cache

I have deleted the condition and recreated it

I have even disabled another condition that also hid some of the same fields.

This appears to be a bug.

I am having a similar problem on my form: http://www.jotformz.com/form/52255803943659

Conditions weren´t working, so I cleared the cache and then It started to work fine on my computer.

But I kept receiving submissions without the condition, so I realized that conditions are not working on Safari, so people filling the form on Ipad or Iphone can´t see the conditions.

    I have the show/hide condition on fileds 1.1, 1.3 and 1.7.

    What should I do?
