An option to change field type (Dropdown to Checkbox for example)

Asked by Trainer67 on July 13, 2014 at 07:43 AM

Is there any way to change the format of a question, ie, text to a dropdown? I know I can copy and paste the data in a new form, I just wanted to know if there is a quick way. Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is currently no way you can switch field type into our form builder. You have to copy the options from a field and paste it to another field, i.e Dropdown to Checkbox.

Let me submit this to our developers as a feature request. I am sure this is a good addition to our existing features. You should be notified via this thread if this is implemented.

    Thank you!

Hello, Are there any updates on if Checkbox field types can be converted to Dropdown field types without resubmitting the questions/answers?

Unfortunately, we do not have an update of this request yet. If there's any, you should know it here.

    Thank you.
