Is there any way to convert form results to a JPEG or PNG file instead of a PDF?Asked by JeremyBuckmier on July 14, 2014 at 03:02 PM
I want to post form results directly to various galleries in my SmugMug website. SmugMug only allows for image files, - JPEGs, GIFs or PNGs to be be posted in galleries. Right now my workaround is to receive my auto-responses from JotForm, in the form of Email in Outlook, use a batch conversion software, and convert my emails to JPEG files and then do a batch upload to my SmugMug account of the JPEG files. This will work for hundreds of emails, but eventually I am going to have thousands of emails to process, once we start receiving thousands of form responses a day. Since there is not a JotForm widget allowing for direct posting to SmugMug, I thought a possible work-around might be to run the Box integration for my JotForm form, and then use something like CloudBuckit or Mover, which will allow me to automatically transfer from my Box account to SmugMug. But the problem is JotForm's widget for Box, only allows for PDF files to be sent to my Box account. Is there any way to convert JotForm form results to a JPEG image automatically, and then have JotForm, send the JPEG image file to my Box account, or another Cloud service storage account such as dropbox, or better yet, have it go straight to my smugmug galleries?
We do currently have box integration. But as you said, it only sends a PDF. Unfortunately there is no way to convert submissions into image form on our end. We can use submission data to populate excel spreadsheet and PDF documents, but we cannot populate image files with this data. The only workaround I could think of would be to have you submissions go to your dropbox, and then to setup a converter like this one:
I am not sure how hard that conversions would be to implement however.
Please let us know if you have any other questions and we will be happy to help.
Thank you for using Jotform!
