    Hello carloboy90,

    Unfortunately it not possible to change the input type fields of just one column. You can change the matrix input type to drop down but it will change for all columns.     You may like to take a look at our "Configurable List" widget which should help you achieve your requirement. This will allow you to add different input types in different columns.     Please be noted that it is also possible to hide the add button by adding the custom css code in the widget. I have already made the add button hidden in the demo form. Please check the screenshot below:
