Option to create a new submission ID if a revision is made

Have the option to create a new submission ID or keep the existing one if a revision is made?

The submission ID can't be changed by users I'm afraid. These unique IDs are automatically generated by our system and we don't have any control over them.

An option for you is to use Unique ID Widget or Random Value Generator Widget which can create unique values for your form submissions.

Yes, i understand the sibmission id is generated auromatically.  I was hoping there was an option to have the system create a new id on an edit  in addition to when there are new submissions.
I set up the unique id widget, but how do i force the submission id to be changed to the unique id?
What i am ultimately looking for is to see separate entries in my dashboard for the original submission & the edited / updated submission.

There's no option to change a Submission ID. It will always rely on the first time the form is completed. The widgets I've given is a workaround just so you'll be able to identify the edited form. Also the widgets is in no way able to force-change the Submission ID, sorry.

If you want to see separate submissions, you can clone the original form then Prefill form fields with data from another form. This will create separate submissions in another form.
