Can't Edit Form

    I'm using membership application form. When I try to add, or duplicate a field it places the field in a jumbled spot on the top of the form.

     

    The attached image shows the field in edit view and preview. Have attempted many times with different fields. Event tried duplicating an existing field on the form. They all have the same result. 

     

    Tried on IE11, Chrome, FireFox all with the same result.

    Hello,

    Thanks for bring this to our attention. I just attempt the duplicate function with a clone of your form, and got the same results. It looks like the duplicate function doesn't work as expected there. I'm escalating this issue to development. In the meantime, please add new features via the panel on the left, rather than duplicating them.

    Interestingly, I can't reproduce this in a separate form. We're still investigating.

    This thread will be updated when the issue is resolved.

    I looked into this a bit further, and saw that this form has a lot of custom CSS. It looks like that's causing the issue. When I remove it, I can edit the form just fine.

    Our form editor layout shouldn't be affected by custom CSS, so we'll have our developers look into that. In the meantime, as a workaround, you can remove it, edit the form, and then add it back in when you're done. I didn't examine it too closely, but it has a number of "!important" tags, which may be overriding our settings.

    I can't reproduce this issue anymore. Our developers must have made updates that resolved it. Please let us know if you still encounter problems with this.

    Yes, within days of your post on July 17 the problem appeared to be resolved.
