Hi! Is it possible to have a radio selection label be the response instead of the radio button.
For example I am filling in a PDF, I have a single selection radio for the following options
- Fellowship
- License
- Ordination
I would like it to actually print the selection on the pdf instead of a button.
I tried a drop down but they don't toggle for single selection -

Hello Katrina,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am not yet sure if I understand your concern correctly, do you mean to say that you would like to print the question on the pdf when a specific answer is selected? Please note that you can directly include multiple choice field(so the answer can be deselected) for each question and use the question/label as the option and leave the label empty.
Give it a try and let us know if this would work for you

Hi! Thanks for your response. Using the example above, when I select Fellowship, instead of a check mark going on the PDF, I'd like the word fellowship to go on the PDF. Is that possible?

Hello Katrina,
Thanks for getting back to us and clarifying your concern. If you'd like to paste the selected option's text from the Single choice field to the Original PDF document, it can be achieved with a simple workaround. Let’s do it:
1. Add a Single choice field with the required options. You can remove the connections of choices from the original pdf.
2. Add three Short text fields to the form to get the selected answer. These fields should be hidden in the online form:
3. Now, link the hidden short text field to your original pdf. You can change the location of these fields by dragging them where you want them to be.
4. Use Update/Calculate field conditional logic to copy a value from the Single choice field to the hidden text fields:
5. Here’s what its Conditional Logic looks like. Simply type the text in the text area under the DO statement.
Also, check out our guide explaining how to How to Insert Text or Calculation into a Field Using Conditional Logic
