Edit Submission within the embedded form?

Question

I have a form on my site. It is long so I have encouraged users to finish the form later. This is accomplished by the great "Edit Link" feature and the auto responder that the user receives that contains the link to the form so that can continue editing later.

My form is embedded on a specific page on my website. All good.

However when the user goes back to the form (via edit link) they are taken to the Jotform site (albeit secure) to continue.

Is there a way for the user to be returned to my site (after clicking the edit link) with their partially completed form embedded in my site

This would just give the user a lot more confidence that they are still dealing with our business and make for less potential confusion.

Unfortunately, it is not possible with {edit_link} feature. However there's a workaround for that but this doesn't use embed method. You can map your form domain with your custom domain name so instead of seeing jotformpro.com in the edit URL, it can be replaced with your domain name e.g. form.mysite.com which gives more satisfaction and might help prevent confusions.

1. Here's how to map form domain with your custom domain. https://www.jotform.com/help/144-How-to-use-Custom-Domains-with-Jotform. Make sure to visit your custom domain afterwards to confirm if it's working.

2. This time you don't need to use {edit_link} tag on your autoresponder since it will generate Jotform's default URL. Just replace {edit_link} tag on your autoresponder with the following.

http://form.mysite.com/form.php?mode=inlineEdit&formID=FORM_ID&sid={id}

Replace,

form.mysite.com with your custom domain URL

FORM_ID with your form ID. It's a long string of numbers at the end part of your form URL.

Hello, I managed to create the form that way. But how do I edit a submission in a client area of my site? Is it possible?

My colleague's workaround mentioned in point #2 does address this issue of yours. You can construct your own edit link equivalent and use it in your webpage.
