How can I request additional information after a customer submits a payment?

    Hello Support, I have a dilemma!

    I'm on the threshold of becoming a provider of web design and other graphic services. And one of the first things that got my attention about JotForm is the payment widgets. But as it turns out, adding a payment option to a form is the easy part... bringing us to the purpose of this email:

    In the event a client purchases a logo, website, etc., I will need to gather additional information from each client that enable me to start their project(s). Is there any way that your system will generate a form that is automatically sent to my clients subsequent to their payments? (But that's not all!) The form that is automatically generated should only request additional information based on the service(s) they've actually purchased, as opposed to it just being a generic form.

    For example, if a client purchases a logo, I have specific questions that I need answered that will help me start their project. However, if they purchase a logo and a website. I still need only (1) form generated automatically that will include questions specific "BOTH" projects.

    I do realize that I could manually send a form to my clients after they've made a purchase, but I'm so busy this could cause me to lose valuable time. I also realize that I could use your forms to request lots of information along with the initial payment option. However, the questions that I ask specific to each project are for my customers eyes only. The questions that I ask prior to starting a project required weeks of logic, planning, and testing . So I don't really want  to publish my questionnaire to web where copycats can duplicate my effort.

    There is no way to auto-generate forms except using our API:

    Alternatively, you might consider using solution with two forms, one for ordering and second for gathering additional details. It is possible to list all the questions on the second form, but show only a part of them based on a smart conditional logic.

    The idea is the following, add a custom prepopulation link to the Autoresponder of the order form.

    Then, show the fields you need on the second form when user is opening the form using mentioned above link from the Autoresponder (it works based on the populated form URL and conditional logic).

    However, we do not have a real password protection option, and forms are published to the web by default.
