Less Than or Greater Than Condition does not count decimal places only its whole numberAsked by SMUJotForm on July 31, 2014 at 12:15 PM
Hi JF team,
We are trying to create a scholarship calculator and the calculation calculator is not working as expected.
I would like a value to display in a text box if a certain GPA number is entered. I set up the conditional between 0 and 2.86, but the result is not displaying for anything between 2.0 and 2.86. Any idea why the display field is not showing as expected?

The reason is that you have established IF ALL of these rules are matched
Just change it to:
IF ANY of these rules are matched
And it should work. See this clone I made and fixed for you
Thank you, Jeanette!
I am still experiencing errors even with this setting. Can you please take a look?

Thanks for your reply. I think there's a glitch on the condition, it doesn't seem to count the decimal value on the "IF" rule.
Example, on your condition it is set LESS THAN 2.8 but the condition system only accepts the whole number 2 without its decimal point .8 which is the reason why it does not work when you enter 2 or greater. I was able to reproduce this on this cloned form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42189194479974?
I have now raised this to our developers so they can fixed this.
We will notify your here once this is resolve.
Thank you Elton for letting me know! I thought I was just not setting up the conditional correctly. We are looking forward to this picking up the decimals. I will stay tuned!
On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome. Since he has already notified our developers on the issue, the thread shall be updated once we have the solution.
Thank you for using JotForm.
