Add an appointment once form is approved

Can you add an option for an appointment to be added ONLY if the approval workflow is approved..?

So I assume that the user will fill out the form and will be sent a form to select an appointment date once approved. Is that how your workflow goes? Kindly confirm so we can try to recreate it on our end. You may also send us the link to your workflow if you have one.

No, so....

We want a form with an appointment picker on it that requires an approver to receive and approve the appointment once they have manually checked a calendar to ensure there are no booking already.

Then, once approved can this then add an appointment into the Gmail calendar

Thanks for getting back to us. When the form is submitted, it will be added immediately as an event in Google Calendar. But, we can try hiding the Appointment field and show it only if the form is being edited after approving the form.

With this workaround, you need to use this guide to hide the Appointment Date: https://www.jotform.com/help/389-how-to-show-or-hide-fields-on-edit-url/

After that, you need to edit the approval email and add the edit link submission. In this way, the recipient can resubmit the form after editing the submission and adding the appointment field date. Here's a screencast guide on how to add the edit link to the email content:
