I really would like to speak with someone about this.  Is there a way to test this out?  I'm trying to use PayPal.  I really need to thoroughly understand how this process works if I integrate PayPal through you.  If I don't go through you, is there a way I can link my PayPal account to my form.  I want my clients to be redirected to PayPal when they hit the submit button. Do you accept phone calls or do you have a chat feature?

    Hi,

Though we do not currently offer phone based support we do occasionally offer chat based support and are working towards having this full time.  When you see the chat popup, we are available.  The forums are the best way to get a hold of us for the time being however.  The way the Paypal integration works is the form data is collected and then a total value or subscription cost is passed via the Paypal API to Paypal.  From there everything else is handled like a normal transaction through Paypal.  We do not have anything to do with the actual payment processing itself.  Your clients will indeed be redirected to Paypal upon your forms submission.

Here is our guide on payment forms for further reference:

Unfortunately without using our integration and payment form, there is not currently a way to pass form values to Paypal.

You can test your setup by setting the payment part of your form to sandbox mode:

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

    Thank you for using Jotform!
