Is it possible to change the Autoresponder or Notifier Language?

    Hi,

We have a form that has been originally created in French and then translated to English.

English has now been set as the default language of the form and the preferred language of the account.

Is there a way to change the language in which the submission Notifier comes through? Seems like even when the form is filled in English, the Notifier keeps coming through in the original language of the form (French).

In the same vein, if the submitter fills the form in his/her preferred language, I imagine it would only be logical for him/her to receive an Autoresponder summarizing his/her entries in that very same language. Is this possible?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I think this is a limitation of the Email Notifier/Autoresponder at the moment.

The email notifier always uses the current default language used in the form when created.

Although you can use the Multi-Language tool in the form, the default language when the form was created will always be the one to be used by the emails.

You can create a form using the English language first so that all the Notifier emails will be in English -- but then again, even if the form is multi language the notification email that form responded will always be in English.

You can do send notification email base on condition. Check this user guide

    -How-to-send-to-a-specific-email-address-based-on-a-selection

You can create multiple custom notifier with different text languages and then in your form add a selection field (i.e. language selector)  so that whenever the user select a language, the appropriate Notifier language base on the condition will be send to the form respondent.

You can try this also if it works for what you need.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

I have just the same need. Our form is in EN and PT. The autoreponder e-mail just send the form fields in EN while the user see (because he selected) the form in PT
