    Hello,

I think this is possible using two steps:

    1. Have a membership site which has a members back-office. This is where you will have your clients/customers log in with their passwords and access what is relevant to them. This will involve some web development outside of our purview -

    2. Use this auto-save method to save responses and have your users access their incomplete forms from the client area.  The autosave method save's user's responses every-time they click on the 'Next' button as shown in the guide

So how would the two steps work together?

Inside the client area, you can prepare a button which will open the customer's form (of which he/she did not complete during an earlier session) using a session ID, usually their email address, which the button will auto-populate.

    ----

Sorry if that sounds quite technical, but please note that step #2 works pretty well all by itself as shown in this guide

Does this point you in the right direction? Please let us know.

    Hi,

Aside from the workaround suggested in the previous thread and the one that my colleague has suggested in this one, it is unfortunately not possible to have your clients edit a pre-populated form that is embedded behind a password protected site.  The steps suggested by Titus would save the form data entered based on sessions, but would not allow for a partial submission that would be completed later if that session expires.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to assist you.

    Thank you for using JotForm!
