How do I create a grid and put form controls in each square?

I am trying to create a calendar grid.  For each day (or individual cell of the grid), there will be a form control (e.g. drop-down menu).  I have tried uploading an image of a grid, but the controls do not sit on the image.  And unless I've missed it, I've not seen the capability to make a table and perhaps insert a form control inside.  Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, there is no such table element available in JotForm.

In theory, something similar might be accomplished with a form source code modification, or with a custom CSS injection (for example, image as the background and custom positioning for the form fields).
