Calculate Average into Rankings Table

Is it possible to use submission date to create a table, based on one specific parameter.

I would like to put the average score of one drop-down parameter into a table, so that, over time, I will beable to see the average for all options.

    Hope this makes sense!

    Cheers.

    Hi,

Yes it is possible to do Average calculations in the form.

    Check this user guide -How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

What you need to add in the form is a DateTime field and Drop-down field with all the options equivalent to a number value.

So, if you select multiple values in the drop-down, you can calculate average base on the current date later on.

Please tell us if this is not what you have in mind.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the response.

I'm ok with the form, but just need some help generating reports.

I want to show a table, averaging the scores for a certain parameter. So, say 100 forms are submitted with parameter 1 = option 1, the table will show the average all of these scores (another parameter). Effectively, I will then be able to see an average score for each option in parameter 1.

I understand that you want to generate custom reports to display average scores of each parameter as a table. Is this correct? Please correct me if you are looking for some other report. I am working on this issue and shall update you with relevant information through this thread shortly.

    Thank you for your patience.

Ye, that's it. I don't know if that's possible in JotForm?

    Hi,

You would need to have the calculations done previous to generating the report.  You can do this by following the guide my colleague referenced.  Then, depending on what kind of report you need, there are several different methods you can choose.  The first is a visual report:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/187-How-to-create-a-Visual-Report-with-your-Form-Submissions

The second is an excel based report:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/101-How-to-create-an-Excel-Report

    And also a CSV report:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/103-How-to-create-a-CSV-Report

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

    Thank you for using JotForm!
