Hello,
I have an upload option within my form that should allow a pdf to be uploaded. Recently an error message has appeared when trying to upload a pdf. This option has worked in the past. I have confirmed that the pdf option has been added to the acceptable extension types. I've also tried it with just using an "*" so all extensions are allowed and still receive an error message. Can you assist?
Thanks,
Jessica -

Hi Jessica,
I was able to choose a pdf in there and pass the validation so I'm guessing that the particular file you used had some dots in it's name which caused the validation to fail.
Can you please try the same field with another pdf file and post the previous files name so that we can test?
Thanks. -

I actually removed the validate image option from that field within the form in order to allow the pdf files to be uploaded. This form is currently live on our website and we need to be able to upload a pdf. I can just leave the validate image option off moving forward.
Thanks,
Jess

Hi there,
As you know, pdf's are able to contain more than just text and images. Therefore, we can not allow them to be validated as images by default for security reasons.
Like you said, turning off the "validate image" option is the way to go for now. I'll discuss this with our devs and see if there's anything that can be done here.
Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
Thanks.
