How to apply conditions to Survey

One more question. Do you have the technology to use customization and hidden merge fields to pass through the answers from previous questions? This gives the survey a customized feel?

For example. My first question might be "are you male or female".

In my second question I could ask "As a [male/female] what problem do you find you have?"

Is this possible?
