I'm working through how Jotform works and interacts with facebook and what kind of control it affords me so that I might integrate it into a facebook application I've developed. It seems that when I set a custom url for the thank you it breaks out of the iframe frame facebook put the form in. Is this intended? Is there some way I can prevent it from doing this?

Yes, that is intended. Custom url thank you page always breaks out of an iframe embedded form, whether on Facebook or any other site. A workaround I can suggest is to embed your thank you page onto your Facebook page as well, then use it as your form's custom thank you page url.
Hope you find this information useful. Thank you for using JotForm!
