    I really don't understand this:

    5. Select/choose fields for the "Sender Details" and fill out the "Recipient E-mail" with an appropriate email address. Click next.

how would I know who the Recipient is

why you call this "notifier" it's very confusing

normally I use coffecup which is simple and easy to understand

    Hi,

There are two different types of emails that you can setup with your form.  The first we refer to as a "Notification".  These are the emails sent to the person you would like to notify each time a form is submitted.  In this case, the "Recipient" would be your email or the email of the person you would like to notify.

    http://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

The second is the email response sent to the people who fill out your form.  We refer to these are "Auto-responders".  In this case you would set the "Recipient" field to a field in your form that collects email addresses.

    http://www.jotform.com/help/26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder

In both instances it is best to least the sender as "noreply@jotform.com" unless you really need it to be sent from a custom domain.  This will greatly reduce any issues with the email being sent.

I hope this clarified things a bit for you and please do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you for using JotForm!

I really don't understand the use of function of the "recipient"

which in reality is the unknown sender

    until a form is submitted

I just want to receive the submitted form

    Dear macssam,

Let me put it this way. I see that you have created a reservation form. When someone (say John) fills this form, you need to be alerted that the form is filled by John and requesting reservation. JotForm needs an email address to send this alert. The person who receives this alert is the recipient. This could be you or the person who manage the reservations. So, we leave it to your choice to enter the email address of recipient.

I hope this clarifies the function of recipient. I see that you have added 3 notifiers with different email addresses. I would suggest to fill the form for testing purposes and see how it works. This gives you more clear idea about the notifier function.

Please do not hesitate to get back to us if you have other questions. We are always happy to assist you.
