How to fix answers to conditional questions not clearing when the user "backs"up to change their answers?

My Form conditions for hiding and skipping work great until a user goes "back" into the form and changes their answers.

At that time, their previously answered questions (saved by the browser) - rather than the new answers - fulfill unintended conditions that dictate how the form functions - or really doesn't function.

Is there a condition that I can include that will clear checked boxes, if the user goes "back" into the form and changes their original answer?

As soon as you use the back button, it is a real mess. I'm desperate; please help...

    Thanks, Marty

    Here is my form:

-If the user were to choose 2/3 panel and 2 text events...

-The form will skip a page, the user enters their information, then to move on, the must check a box, that hides a number of items and reveals the appropriate number of 2 text events.

-If the user were to decide half-way through the form that they wanted to do a full-panel and they backed to the beginning of the form, and selected full-panel, the form still retains that the check box on the bottom of the 2/3 panel is still checked, so the user is immediately directed to the text events area. The Panel page is skipped.

I understand that you want to clear the previous page options selected/text entered when the user clicks back button. I am sorry to inform you that this feature is not available.

We have a feature to place a Reset button on the form but it clears whole form but not a single page.

You can also include Edit link in an Auto responder email that sends the user who filled the form allowing to edit the entries.

Also, please go through the guide on How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you have other questions. We are happy to assist you.

Thank you for your response and I appreciate your suggestion and tips for allowing users to change their entries after they have hit submit.

Unfortunately,  I'm more concerned with the form working, so I guess I need to start a new thread with a different question.

    Thank you again,

I am also forwarding this to our next level support if this can be added as to our feature requests. However, we cannot promise anything on ETA and you'll be notified through this thread once we have any update.

I have submitted a new question as you suggested, but the support team member who answered it, just sent me back to here.

If everyone doesn't have this problem with their forms then it is likely that there is something wrong with my conditions. I really need help and am looking for alternative solutions to my problem.

Just to let you know, our colleague had already submitted the feature request ticket mentioned and the development for the feature was now assigned to one of our developer.

As for the Condition statement issue you have posted here

we will update you about it on that thread. I apologize for the confusion if our colleague had mistakenly redirected you here when that thread was actually about a different concern.

Has this feature been added yet? I have the same problem and need one of our forms to clear responses to questions that have conditional logic if the user goes back and changes a previous response.
