Should I downgrade?

Hi! I would like to ask your honest opinion. I upgraded my free plan last year because I was creating Form which is a big one (in fact, I haven't finished it yet). It was toooo slow and often hang thus I cannot finish it. I thought perhaps my Free account of 100MB cannot accommodate it. So I upgraded... but then, it is the same! Still hangs. Can you tell me if I am going beyond 100MB of the Free account so if not, I might be able to downgrade.

Are you able to tell me what my usage are? I am only one using this Form and I don't go beyond 1000 submissions per year anyway. I am only worried if I am using all the allocated 100MB.

thank you for your honest opinion.

    Hi,

With regards to the slowness of the form, is it when you create it to our form builder or is it when you preview the form into your browser? Let us know so we can help you resolve that. Also, please include the form URL.

Downgrade. Yes, of course you can downgrade your account anytime you want to. If you don't fall above the limit of 100mb for a free account, then you are free to stay on the plan. It is always optional to upgrade :)

Usage. You can check your usage under My Account - Usage section: http://www.jotform.co/myaccount/usage.

Hope that helps! Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you!

    Hi Welvin,

The slowness of the Form is when I create it to your Form Builder. It is also slow when viewed from browser. Aside from being slow, it always hangs and give me error message of "Not Responding" - in Mozilla and something  about "stops running because of long scripts" in IE.

Please help as I need to finish this now.

Thank you for all your support.

    Hi,

I checked your form http://www.jotform.co/form/31644091656860 and I noted that aside from the form being long, it also have a lot of conditional statements.

because of this configurations, there is bound for the form to have lag when being access remotely using its URL. As it will requires to connect to the JotForm server and then back to the client/browser that is accessing the form.

I suggest you try embedding the form using its full source code embed code instead.

    Check this user guide http://www.jotform.com/help/104-How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form

When using the full source code embed of the form, the form will be on your own website server. This will greatly reduced the bandwidth requirement when using the form since it is already on your end.

Hope this help. Please tell us if you need further assistance on this.

    Thanks!
