Cannot save my form in JotForm.

Asked by pslc on August 31, 2011 at 11:11 AM

    Good morning,

For the past two days I have been attempting to create a form in JotForm.  I have successfully created and embedded forms on to a web site before, however, I now receive error messages stating "There was an error on the page. Try reloading the page."  It states that this is a Save error.  I clicked on the icon in my IE status bar and received the following information:

    Webpage error details

    User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; MS-RTC LM 8)

Please provide assistance as soon as possible.  I would like to create a new form and post it this week.

    Thanks!!

    Hi Mike,

Sorry for any inconvenience caused. I assume that you're using IE 8 to create forms. I tried to replicate the problem on my end but failed miserably. I am thinking that since the problem seems to be an error with the Form Builder's scripts, your browser's cache must have been corrupted, resulting to the failure of the scripts to work properly.

Try clearing your browser's cache or temporary internet files. Press Shift, Ctrl and Delete keys to bring up the pop-up screen where the option to clear temporary internet files is available.

If it does not help, please try using a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome so we can find out if the problem is specific only to IE.

Let us know what happens from here on. Thanks!

    Neil,

Thanks for your response.  I cleared the cache/Temporary Internet Files on my computer from IE8 and I still receive the same error message.  I will attempt to create the form utilizing a different browser and provide an update once it is complete.

    Thanks,

    Mike
