Submission posted as complete but no payment was actually made

    I have just seen the above comment about submission going even though no payment has been made and no Pending email is being sent.

    I have reported the same problem using my

    form http://www.warehamrotary.co.uk/bikeride/toenter.html 

     

    Did you ever get to the cause of the problem above?

    This happens if you have your notifications enabled prior to payment as I can see that you do have this turned on. So because of that it would still send the submission to you anyhow as it collects the received data.

    Additionally, if no email is sent in coincidence with it then that is probably because you haven't set up your IPN because you are using PayPal. Your form relies on this to connect to your paypal account to send these correctly without flaw.

    Notifications is set in the final line (Go to Payment) with notification for pending payment set in the line for Paypal.

    IPN is set OK

    90% of the time the form works OK it just sometimes send a completion notification when it should send a Pending Payment. It does send a Pending payment correctly other times.
