Is it possible to do table lookups for dropdown choicesAsked by hilltopkennels on August 14, 2014 at 12:12 PM
I need to allow a user to choose from a dropdown and based on the dropdown choice made, a value substituted via a lookup table into another field.
Chihuahua - Small
Rottweiler - Large
St Bernard - Giant
Border collie - Medium
Irish Terrier - Medium
User chooses the dog breed and the system automatically populates the breed size into another field.
I understand that you want to populate the size into a field when the user chooses the dog breed from a drop down.
Please let me know if I am missing anything here. Please take a look at this form and let me know if it works for you.

I can see how that works but we would need over 150 breeds of dog. Somewhat arduous to setup that many rules, was hoping a neater way would be via a lookup function of some kind.
Unfortunately, there is no feature available as such. However, please allow me some time to work on this and get back to you if I can suggest you a workaround.
Thank you for your patience.
