    encrypt CC information

    I currently have a client where their are four restaurants by four owners (Same Restaurant Name). They all share same website that they pay me to maintain. Users are able to purchase Gift Cards through the website.

    Currently users send information including CC numbers using form (FormSite) that encrypts the information and the stores use a password to get CC information to process gift card and mail to recipient.

    Can I use your forms to do same. This will NOT connect to payment gateway such as PayPal - because they choose what store to purchase from, complete the form and then each store processes through their POS system.

    Looking at other options. We may be replacing their website with a responsive design wordpress site.

    Hello Philip,

    Unfortunately no. It is not possible to encrypt the input data of form fields and save it. Moreover we do not advice creating forms which is asking for credit card numbers from users. Creating such forms are not allowed in JotForm. If you want to process payments, you can add any of our inbuilt "Payment Tools".

    We have automated anti-phishing system which scans all forms and mark them with probability of being used for phishing activities.
