    Scoring/ multiple conditions

Asked by tcusker on September 01, 2011 at 07:30 PM

I have a form that I would like each section to be scored, ie so that if somebody only answers all 1s or 2s for the first section, then sections 2 & 3 will be hidden from then, and subsequently the same for section 2 it they score 1s or 2s in this section, then they cant see section 2.

    Any ideas?

    Hi tcusker,

Unfortunately, this feature is currently not available with JotForm. However, I do get how this could be useful, I will try to add this to our feature request list and hopefully, our developers can integrate this in the near future. You will be informed through this thread or on our blog for any available updates.

Your patience is highly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,

This thread is quite old and I believe this can be accomplished by using form field calculations:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

You can assign calculation values to your fields, in this case I would recommend using a radio button, then add up the results with a calculation widget:

    http://widgets.jotform.com/category/calculation

Then you would conditionally show/hide fields based on the score:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/196-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once

If you have any specific questions regarding this setup, please create a new thread so that we may address your question properly.  This current one is 4 years old and will send notifications to users that may no longer be with JotForm.
