You may take a couple of days to respond.

This error message shows up before an input is made.

Nothing happens when I click on "See Errors".

How can I get after clicking on "See Errors", see the errors highlighted?

The form cache was cleared, thinking that would help.

The text was changed, so the bar does interact with some things as it should. However, when pointed cursor moves over "See Error" the cursor changes to hand but can't click "See Errors".

The red turns to green when all required fields are filled in.

Curious, with at least 6 required fields, why does just 1 show up when the form is loaded?

    Warm Regards,

    Stan

    Hello Stanley,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you are bothered with the warning message although the form has not been filled out yet. When I cloned and tested your form, the same thing happened for me. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. It's really easy to fix. So what we are going to do is to reset the form warning message. Then we can always get back to it and customize the message. Let me sho the steps and screencast:

    • On the Form Builder, click the Settings tab
    • On the menu on the left side, click Form Settings
    • Click Show More
    • Look for Form Warnings and click edit
    • Scroll down to the bottom and click reset
    • Click Save Changes
    • You can back and edit the warning message according to your needs

"You may take a couple of days to respond." is the start of my message on this thread. The hope was time would be taken to correct the situation or give a valid fix. I wish you had taken the time to check that it was so.

You may not have waited long enough for the error message to show up.

ur reset instructions were followed and repeated. Clear Cache was also done again.

On a previous thread, eventually the "Global Countdown Widget" coding on your server was redone.

What is seen on outside, consumer computer systems; can be different that what is seen on corporate systems.

The red error message still shows up before there is any data entered into any of the fields.

The email address is the first required field.

Clicking on the error message, "See Errors" should hightlight this empty field.

When cursor moves over the "See Errors", arrow changes to pointer finger. However, clicking action does nothing.

How can we get the Error Navigation message to only show up when it should and for the "See Errors" to work?

Below is a larger scale of the top of the screen that shows both email fields that are required. To the right is a reduced image of as much of the form as I can get.

Thanks for taking the time to present an effective solution.

    Hello Stanley,

Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form and also made a clone to investigate what is causing the error. What I found in the form's source code is your integration with PayPal might be causing this issue. You may see this from the screenshot below:

To possibly resolve this issue, please try to switch to another Payment Gateway, Save the new settings then switch back to PayPal. Another resolution is to connect to PayPal Business as it showed in the form that you were not connected. This guide will show you how to do that.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    HELP!

    https://www.jotform.com/build/222268450439256

As the form evolves, it gets copied.

Thank for everyone on your team with helping to get the complex form working.

Form worked great earlier today. This was with selecting an offline method of payment. (Cash, Cheque or e-Transfer.)

Now, I am getting error message as above.

All of the fields are indeed filled in correctly.

Previously when this error message showed, it was fixed by me clearing the cache or resetting the payment gateway. I tried these measures.

How can I find out what is really causing the error message to show up?

    Warm Regards,

    Stan Smurlick

    Hi Stanley,

Thanks for getting back to us. We've checked here and the Payment fields cannot be hidden like this the only way to fix it is conditionally set the payment amount to 0 if the cash option is chosen, and then use another calculation field to display the actual price.

    Check my screencast below:
