Can the form do calculations in certain increments?

I have a form (using PayPal Pro as my payment module) where it calculates the total amount based on number of hours.

For example, if I am creating a form where the rate is $55/hour, and someone wants to purchase 3.75 hours. So upon submission, the info that should go to PayPal is that $206.25 for that 3.75 hours.

    3.75 x $55.00 = $206.25

Can JotForm handle calculations in such increments (0.25, 0.50, 0.75)? I did a test, and it looks it's only doing the calculations based on whole numbers. Hopefully the attached screenshot will help.

    Hopefully this question makes sense.

    Thanks,
    Daphne K.

    Hi,

Yes, you could make something using a custom calculation widget and then pass the value to your payment field:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Here is a small demo form I made to show you what I am talking about:

You can clone it to see the specific settings and such by following this guide:

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

    Thank you for using JotForm!
